What people ask us
Can I start from a photo instead of a PDF?
Yes. The tool accepts JPG, PNG and WebP files as well as PDFs. Several images dropped together become the successive pages of one document.
Does the text stay selectable in the output?
No, by design: each page becomes an image, just as a scanner would produce. A real scan is not searchable either, unless text recognition is applied afterwards.
What does the intensity change?
It drives every setting at once: tilt, grain, lighting, sharpness and compression. At 1 the effect is barely visible; at 10 it is pronounced. The middle value suits most documents.
Can I get images instead of a PDF?
Yes. Choose “Images” in the output options: you get one JPG per page, bundled in an archive when there are several.
Are the file dates altered?
No. The output carries no backdated timestamp and no original metadata. The tool renders the look of a scan; it does not fabricate a false history.
Are my documents sent anywhere?
No. Processing happens in place, with no transmission: we know neither the names nor the contents of your files. That matters all the more here, since these are often official papers.
