What people ask us
Can I process several images at once?
Yes: up to three per operation, each converted with the same settings. You get a ZIP archive in which each keeps its name. The upcoming Pro plan will process fifty at a time.
Which format should I choose?
JPG for a photo to send anywhere; PNG for a screenshot, a logo or anything that must stay perfectly sharp; WebP for the web; AVIF for a file that is usually lighter still, read by recent browsers.
Why does AVIF take longer?
It compresses more, and that work takes a few seconds, more for a very large photo. The preview is therefore computed on demand.
What about an animated GIF?
Only its first frame is converted: the formats offered here are still images.
Is the photo's information kept?
No. The camera, date and place are not carried into the converted image. It still displays the right way up.
Are my images sent to a server?
No. Your image is not transmitted to us: we know neither its name nor its contents. There is nothing to delete afterwards.
