What people ask us
Can I process several images at once?
Yes: up to three per operation, each resized with the same settings. You get a ZIP archive in which each keeps its name. The upcoming Pro plan will process fifty at a time.
Which algorithm should I choose?
“Automatic” suits almost every case: bicubic sharper to reduce, smoother to enlarge. Lanczos keeps the most sharpness when reducing; “nearest neighbour” keeps the crisp pixels of a screenshot or pixel art.
Can I enlarge an image?
Yes, up to 25 million pixels. Enlarging does not create detail: it spreads the existing detail over more pixels, and the image looks softer.
How do I keep the proportions?
Enter only the width or only the height: the other follows. Entering both imposes a shape, even if it stretches the image.
Does the image lose quality?
The resizing itself is done with care, and the image is saved at high quality. To make the file lighter, use the compression tool instead.
Are my images sent to a server?
No. Your image is not transmitted to us: we know neither its name nor its contents. There is nothing to delete afterwards.
