Three steps
Drop one or more JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC images to make lighter.
Choose a level or the size not to exceed, and compare with the original.
Download the compressed image, or the archive of all of them.
Differences
The result before you download
The original and the compressed image side by side, with the exact size of each: you judge the loss before keeping it.
A size not to exceed
Enter the maximum size a form or messaging app accepts: the image is tuned to fit under it.
What people ask us
Can I process several images at once?
Yes: up to three per operation, each compressed with the same settings. You get a ZIP archive in which each keeps its name. The upcoming Pro plan will process fifty at a time.
What is the difference between the levels?
The light level keeps the image's resolution and reduces the size a little. The balanced and strong levels also reduce the dimensions of very large photos, which makes them much lighter with no visible difference on screen.
What if my image is already highly compressed?
It is given back unchanged, and the tool tells you so: it never delivers an image heavier than the one you dropped, in its own format.
Can I compress a PNG image?
Yes. PNG is lossless: it gets lighter mainly by reducing its dimensions. For a photo, converting it to JPG or WebP saves much more; an image with transparency keeps it in WebP.
Is the photo's information kept?
No. The camera, date and place the photo was taken are not carried into the compressed image. It still displays the right way up.
Are my images sent to a server?
No. Your image is not transmitted to us: we know neither its name nor its contents. There is nothing to delete afterwards.
