Blur faces and license plates

Anonymise a photo before you share it: faces are found and blurred automatically, and you cover a license plate or any other detail by hand. A blur that cannot be undone, with no watermark.

How it works

Three steps, nothing more.

  1. Step 01

Drop a JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photo.

  2. Step 02

Check the faces found, move, resize or rotate their frames, and add areas — a license plate, a name, a screen.

  3. Step 03

Download the blurred photo, with or without its metadata.

What sets it apart

Built for the result.

A blur that cannot be undone

Each area is first reduced to a grid of a few cells, then smoothed: the original features are destroyed, not just softened, and no software can rebuild them.

02

The photo's location erased

With Pro, the GPS coordinates, camera and date a photo carries disappear with the rest of its metadata: the blurred image no longer tells where it was taken.

Accepted formats

Drop them as they are, no conversion needed first.

Where your files are processed

With this tool, your file is not transmitted anywhere: not to us, not to any third party. We know neither its name, nor its contents, nor its size.

Nothing is kept, because nothing reaches us.

Detection finds faces seen from the front and at three-quarters, down to the small faces of a group photo, which it finds by scanning the image piece by piece. A face in profile, covered or badly blurred may slip through: always check the preview before sharing. With Pro, you add any missed area by hand.
